Hexfield: Endpoint and identity investigation
FICTIONAL DEMONSTRATION CONTENT. Replace with verified evidence and approved content before publishing.
Hexfield is a fictional example of a team that repeatedly examines related endpoint and identity alerts in separate queues. The story illustrates a possible review structure, not a documented customer deployment.
An analyst starts with the endpoint activity, identifies process ancestry and the associated user, and checks recent authentication events. They compare the sequence with approved changes before deciding whether the activity deserves escalation.
A consolidated timeline preserves the original detections and shows which conclusions are supported by evidence. Where context is missing, the interface asks for additional validation instead of presenting uncertainty as fact.
The 32% decrease shown on the sample customer card is purely illustrative. It is not a validated reduction in investigations or operational cost.
