Identity is becoming the perimeter
Tracing token abuse from SaaS session to production privilege.
01
Sessions now carry infrastructure consequences
A SaaS session can lead to an API token, a cloud role, a CI credential or an automation secret. When identity context is separated from infrastructure context, the escalation path disappears across tool boundaries.
02
Privilege chains matter more than isolated anomalies
Impossible travel, a new device or a role change may each look weak alone. Joined together with downstream access and reachability, the same events can explain an attack path from session takeover to production control.
03
Contain the path, not just the account
Disabling a single session may be insufficient if durable credentials or delegated roles already exist. Response should follow the full privilege chain and preserve the evidence behind each containment action.
Identity telemetry becomes operational when it explains what the session can reach next.
